Pastor Tanko Welcomes You to ZiSOM
Hi,
I welcome you to Zion School of Ministry in the glorious name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am particularly excited to have you consider studying with us as we raise Laborers for a Ready Harvest in the Lord's Vineyard.
Zion School of Ministry (ZiSOM), is a baby born out of a deep burden to train ministers and Church leaders across denominations for effective ministry in the local Church. This burden is precisely in order as referenced in Ephesians 4:11-16; Matthew 9:35-38. In this light, we have the intention to run comprehensive, world class, credible non-denominational ministry training programs at all levels from the most basic to the most advanced. Ranging from specialized ministry course Certifications, to academic Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs.
These programs will meet the needs of learners at every level. In order to do this, we have structured our processes, from admissions to graduation, to meet the needs and accommodate the deficiencies of the students that indicate interest. From offering Tuition Free education, to an easy, but intentional admissions process, we ensure that no one truly born of God and ready to serve Him is hindered from taking proper training.
The mission of ZiSOM is to break down the dividing walls and offer a credible, yet affordable and accessible ministry training to the simple believer. These believers must not necessarily be called into full time ministry, and may not even desire at all to hold a pastoral position, reason why we do a combination of online, in person, and hybrid modes of learning for flexibility and accessibility. Our online model follows an E-Learning format, giving the students lifetime round the clock access to all course material. This grants the student the liberty to study at their pace without having to leave work and family.
We value faithfulness in ministry at every level, doctrinal purity and personal integrity, and desire to pass on these values to our students without any hint of a denominational bias. This is a very delicate balance, yet by the grace of God, we are able to stay faithful to Scriptures while meeting the needs of our diverse student population. Thanks to our partnership with Third Millennium Ministries, this work has been made even easier for us by means of their world-class, Seminary Level curriculum.

Our mission is to prepare Christ-like students and Ministers fully equipped with all knowledge and skills necessary for success in Christian Church Ministry and Missions.
We desire to raise up passionate laborers for the ready harvest of souls into God's Kingdom. Ensuring that students master the art of servant-leadership in the care of God's flock.
We want to make ministry training accessible and affordable for the simple Christian with a genuine desire for God's Kingdom business.
VISION
Our vision is to develop responsible, knowledgable, and faithful stewards of the Faith from all ethnic, geographical, financial, and denominational backgrounds.
We do this by providing a diverse, trusted, transformative, and exciting learning environment and curriculum in partnership with our various partners locally and internationally. We want to celebrate student achievements and encourage for ministry commitment and faithfulness.

Seminary Level Curriculum
We use a simple, standard, and world class curriculum made available to us by our Partners at ThirdMill, TVSeminary, MINTS International Seminary, Online Bible Institute (JMBIS), and others to give our students the best in Ministry Training. Thanks to these partnerships, we offer credible training that meets the Theological and Ministry needs of people across denominations and ministry affiliations. We are constantly looking to engage more partnerships in order to offer our students exactly what will meet their educational and ministry needs.
Flexible Study Methods
We combine online and hybrid study methods to offer our students flexibility based on their schedule. ZiSOM programs can be completed entire online under supervision of our distance learning coordinators. We ensure follow up is done for all students in our online community. Where internships are necessary, we work closely with the supervisors to provide the best practical learning opportunities to our students.
Affordable flat rate charges
We desire to make Ministry training affordable and accessible to people of all walks of life and financial status. Our programs have a yearly flat rate of 25,000 FCFA ($42.2 USD) without any hidden fees in order for students to never have reason to be worried about finances. This amount is the students' way of helping to keep the school running. An extra 5,000FCFA ($8.36 USD) for first time students is paid at the point of registration for admission processing, and the rest can be completed within a stated time period in the course of the academic year.
Practical Ministry Opportunities/Internships
Our students come from diverse Ministry backgrounds, and we train them to build skills in various Church Ministry and Outreach/Mission opportunities. This is made possible through intentional ministry assignments in various ministry settings both in Church and on the mission field. Students have the opportunity to take part in one missionary activity every year away from home, thanks to our partnership with Elvian Evangelistic Association. These ministry assignments are a great part of student experience as it helps them practice what they learn in the classroom.

Mbuli Brain Tanko
Founder/Administrator
Pastor and Bible Teacher
Pastor Tanko is the Founder and Administrator of Zion School of Ministry. He holds a BA in Pastoral Care and Counseling from the Cameroon Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity Degree in Ministry at the Jesus Moment Bible Institute and Seminary (JMBIS), USA, and an Advanced Academic Diploma in Theology (the equivalence of an MA in Theology) with Foundation Academy of Amsterdam (FAA) School of Theology, Netherlands. All these degrees are taken online, giving him a wide scope of experience in online studies. He also is currently admitted to begin an online Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at the University of the People (UoPeople), USA. He is passionate to see many Kingdom minded Ministers rise up out of every local church. His commitment to the vision and mission of ZiSOM has yielded great success and testimonies of life changing partnerships and personal growth in the lives of students.
Tanko is Married to Tracy Kefeyin and is currently serving as Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church Bamendankwe in the North West Region of Cameroon. He loves teaching and appreciates working with teachable people.

Akuro Nadesh is a student in the Diploma of Christian Ministry/Leadership at ZiSOM. She is committed in her assigned task of ensuring a seamless admissions process for all ZiSOM students by guiding new applicants through the enrollment process.
Nadesh is the Youth Ministry Head and Prayer Team Leader at Mount Zion Baptist Church Bamendankwe.
